Meet the Superhosts
We wanted to recognize our Superhosts by honoring the extraordinary, who represent Airbnb’s best in hospitality and foster belonging with every guest. To achieve that, we created holistic Superhost initiatives to show our appreciation and recognize the world’s best hosts within our Airbnb community throughout the year. These initiatives included physical awards delivered to the most consistent, data-driven hyper-personalized emails, social first films, IG stories, hero photography and regional events bringing Superhosts together to trade super powers. All done at a global scale.

Social stories highlighting the ‘Super’ in each of our Superhosts from all over the world.
We selected certain Superhosts and created beautiful social stories of them through animated film—working with the incredibly talented teams at GIANT ANT, ODDFELLOWS and STATE DESIGN.
We even went as far as creating one of our Superhosts—Nia & Tacuma, into comic book heroes for turning a run down community into a thriving, colorful destination for the world to visit. This was featured as a double page spread in the Airbnb magazine.
